| Cancellations and Refunds |
|
Mouse River Outfitters reserved the right to cancel the hunt if weather forces the birds to leave the area. You will be rebooked for the following year if weather forces a cancellation. If weather forces a hunt to terminate early or causes you to miss some days of hunting there will be no refund. |

| Guns |
|
A 12ga 3 magnum, 12ga 3 1/2 magnum and 10ga are the most popular guns used. Steel T shot for geese and steel 2 shot for ducks are the most popular loads for waterfowl. North Dakota allows 2 guns in the field. Most hunters have 1 loaded with duck shot and 1 with goose shot, as often, there is no time to reload. North Dakota is a steel shot zone for waterfowl. Steel shotgun shells are available locally for most of the common type loads. When pheasant hunting, bring your favorite lead shot. |

| License Costs |
|
North Dakota license cost necessary for waterfowl hunting in zone three is $85. North Dakota license for upland game including pheasants, is $85, plus general game stamp of $13 and certificate for $2. Don’t worry about getting them early as we have an 800 number and you can be licensed immediately with a credit card. If you were born after December 31, 1961, you must have a hunter safety number. | Clothing |
|
North Dakota has a wide range of temperatures and layering is recommended. Prepare for the coldest.. Make sure your full outer layer of clothing is either white or camo. Either will be used and should be available. Afternoon clothing can be any kind of camo. Bring face mask to cover face. |

| Possession Limit & Processed Bird Transportation |
|
Daily limit on snow geese is 20 per day, no possession limit. White front or speckle belly limit is 2 and 4. Ducks are 6 and 12. Canadian geese are 3 and 6. Pheasant are 3 for natural habitat and 20 for the ranch. They will be processed, frozen, and ready for air shipment or ready for a cooler. We also have Trophy handling procedures. Any waterfowl hunting package that includes bird cleaning will provide cleaning up to a maximum of 40 birds per person. |

| Personal Equipment |
|
Bring your cameras and field glasses if you you desire. One hour processing is available. Bring thermos bottles for coffee or other warm or cool beverages. |

| Hunting Vehicle & Transportation |
|
All of the guides will be equipped with 4wd trucks and suburbans that are equipped with radio communications and cell phones. Customers are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from the airport as well as to and from the field. |
